I am a Family and Newborn photographer in Vancouver, WA and the surrounding areas.

Nothing makes me happier than when a mom tells me I captured her family members' true personalities and relationships. I look for the genuine smile, the pouty face, the giggle and all the other expressions that tell a story of loved ones beyond that perfect photo. I love a relaxed photo session where we walk and chat and take some photos and your kids play and we take some more photos. We may even play some games and tell stories. I don't know about you, but my day job is plenty serious enough...when I take photos, I want to enjoy a relaxed, relational and joyful experience. 

I have been obsessed with taking photos since I got my first film SLR camera in college. I made my college friends model for me and I took my camera every where and photographed every thing. Seriously, everything. My friends said I'd drive my kids crazy if I ever had them and they were right! When my oldest was born I picked up my first fancy digital camera and photographed every moment...the happy and the sad. Haven't stopped since! It just makes me happy.
