I have a love/hate relationship with winter in the Pacific Northwest.  I love that the sky is so much more interesting on a cloudy day.  I love that I can shoot in the middle of the day without dealing with harsh shadows.  I miss the golden hour.  And you never know when the sky is just going to open up and pour.  Mary Beth and I had some back up plans just in case their engagement session was rained out.  And yes, she lost a shoe in the mud and standing still while sinking in the muck was, um, tricky.  BUT we got a good 45 minutes of dry skies! And only in the last moment, the rain came down and the umbrella went up.  Jared and Mary Beth were so much fun!  I think you'll agree, they are just perfect and so clearly in love! Can't wait for your wedding, Mary Beth and Jared!
