A little good news...since we've entered into Phase 2, here in Washington, photography is a possibility again!
While some photographers are doing both indoor and outdoor sessions for families, I've chosen to focus my business on outdoor sessions for now. In fact, while my typical newborn sessions are indoors, the beautiful weather allowed me to photograph a newborn and her mama outdoors just this week.

You might be wondering: What safety measures are you taking right now?
Before I step out of my car and grab my camera, I always use hand sanitizer and put on my mask. Typically during a session I'll occasionally move a little one's hair out of their eye or place a hand where I'd like it. I might guide a little one to sit in a certain spot on mom's lap. Right now I'll be asking you to do these things so that I can be hands-off.

Choosing the right location.
Locations with open space that make it easy to maintain distance from others are important. We will work together to determine a location that will work for both safety and beauty.

What do I ask of you?
I'm asking my clients to reschedule their session if either I or anyone in their family has had symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 14 days. When I step out to do this thing I love, I also want to do my best to continue to protect both my family and yours.
