We definitely want kids to have good feelings about having their photo taken so they want to come back again and again so we try to keep things light and fun with little games and silliness. The best locations have a fun way to end the evening with maybe a splash in the water, throwing rocks in the river or even playing on a playground. 

I've been photographing these sweeties since they were newborns! It is a gift to watch families grow.
